Japanese Knotweed stem injection is an alternative to foliage spraying, which can affect and kill other nearby plants. By injecting a concentrated dose of Glyphosate Herbicide into each individual cane using equipment specifically designed for the treatment and eradication of Japanese Knotweed. Knotweed stem injection treatments are a great way of directly killing the species without causing harm to local wildlife or plants. Often this method is chosen on residential projects due to the precise nature of the application.

This method of direct Japanese Knotweed stem injection of herbicide is highly effective as it is absorbed throughout the rhizome and deep into the plant’s root system, helping to completely eradicate the troublesome plant.

Japanese Knotweed stem injection is far less risky to both the environment, waterways, and neighbouring plants. In environmentally sensitive areas, for example, where the Japanese Knotweed is on or near water, we will treat that too.
